I let our air filter run out for awhile because I got busy with life. After finally ordering a new one and installing it, I noticed a difference right away! So now, I make sure there's always a fresh one installed. It's also easy to install which makes it nice.

At the beginning, we were not sure how this air filter will fit in. But, it fit in nicely. It is quick and easy to install. The filter is light and it lasts about 6 months. So, you only need 2 air filters per year. Since, We replaced the air filter, I didn't notice any food odor/smell. It does it work well!
Refrigerator air filter was a good price at Walmart and shipped quickly within two days. Filter fit the refrigerator perfectly.

This filter was a lifesaver!! I could not figure out why my ice smelled and tasted bad, until I finally seen that my fridge was missing the air filter. Soon after I placed the filter in I noticed a difference in the fridge smell as well as the smell of my ice. Now I set a reminder in my phone to make sure I change the filter every six months.
I recently won a whirlpool refrigerator with the ice maker and bottom freezer. It has lights that light up when you need to change a filter. I ran across these and decided to give it a try. It was super easy to install and took about a minute. I think this will work much better than baking soda. This package is a 3 pack so it will last me a while.
Just hope it's lasted longer
The timer that you activate, to know when to replace the filter, seems to be moving too fast. I understand that it's a timer for a recommend time to replace the filter but it makes me wonder if it this an authentic part. Is the filter actually filtering the air, I don't know.
