I am very happy with this product. It only sounds off when it it picks up the right signals, especially in town. My old one was constantly going off and was very annoying. I highly recommend this radar detector.
Really easy to use/install. Tracks radar very well on all bands. This nit saved my a boat load in fines.
I love it when I know what's coming, even when I can't see it.
I have been using this product for the last month and it has worked well so far. It has provided warnings on several different times and was on point with the warnings. It is quiet and does not give a lot of false alarms.
Its a rader detector not a cop detector!! So all the reviews saying they past a cop and nothing happened that means the cop wasnt radaring! It works as described yes they are better ones but you will pay more
I have owned this detector between three to four months. It works just as well as a $300 detector that I owned. It gives a lot of false alerts in the city due to automatic door openers, even in city mode. It works the best when on the highway because there is nothing there to give it false alerts. My detector went off when driving on the interstate, but I could see no cop. This went on for several minutes when a highway patrol car passed me on the opposite side. I turned my car around and measured the rough distance of detection at around one mile! Great detector for the open highway, but discretion should be used in the city as the result of false alerts!
The only few times it has gone off there has been no cop nearby. I assume it has been set of by the grocery store and bank that I was near on the respectable situation.
one thing im not sure of if it is working like its suppose to i have plenty of cops drive by me and nothing happends with the radar detector im not sure rather they dont have there radar on or mine is not working right! and i never noticed before but the v light on the radar detector stays on all the time! im pretty sure it didnt use to do that!
Always noisy except when laser guns point out my car! I used this detector for five months and good thing is now I am a very safe driver because of this. Fortunately, when laser guns were watching me, my car was in the middle of tens of fast cars. I was fooled by cheap price.
The only time this detector works is when I'm near some stores! I've drove past 4 cops now and they were clocking people and my detector never went off, if I would of been speeding I would of got a ticket! I wish I could return it but it's to late. What a waste of money!!
