It is a great addition to the room. It matches the crib beautifully. It took my husband a couple hours to put together. He was very unhappy with the directions, but it was easy for him to figure it out.
My husband and I had purchased this Ellis Dresser/Changer combo in April and just got around to putting it together. Now that the time is sailing away we are tying up loose ends. We are very impressed with the overall product. We read a lot of reviews which spanned the entire rainbow and decided to purchase it anyway. The directions were very easy to follow and it only took us about an hour to complete. We also purchased the Ellis 4 in 1 crib, but have not put it together yet We will let you know. It is this weekend's project. As for the color, it is a very nautical off white. If you are looking for true white....it is not. We are very satisfied with the color and the quality of the workmanship. I think it is a very sturdy dresser, especially for the price. I look forward to filling it up.
I have a similar changing table with my first baby & I love how it has the tower with the top drawer. It is so helpful especially when the baby starts to kick their feet. You have the height of the tower to keep the powder, baby oil & lotion, etc separate. Also, the top drawer of the tower keeps other things handy & at a higher level to help you get things you need to tend to your baby. I think this is the better changing table as opposed to the longer changing tables because of these advantages & conviniences.
I wasn't expecting too much for this price, but it is really a nice changing table. It is much more stable than the one we bought for our son at JC Penney a couple of years ago. I was surprised with how substantial and sturdy it is. There was a place that had 2 fingerprints on it, but I don't really care. Great value.
