This stain blocker is great! It covers smoke stains, water stains and literally everything that I have used it on.
You should probably wear gloves when using this product. It does wash off of your skin with soap and water though. It really covers the water stains and does it in one coat if you get closer to the stain when spraying. Otherwise, spray one coat then repeat until you see the desired effect. Wish they had more colors like off white or almond but still a good product!
We recently had our roof replaced, so I could finally take care of some water stains on the ceiling. I was skeptical of the claims that this was odorless, but was pleasantly surprised. This oil-based spray is super convenient for small areas. Great coverage, no dripping, and dries fast. Had no smells until I opened the low-VOC latex paint to do the finish coat.
I painted my kids room and made the mistake of thinking marker would just get covered by the paint. After two coats the maker bled through. I tried a latex primer of another brand that didn't work. I was a little worried about the spray application but I had been working on this project for days and it was turning into a nightmare. So I bought a can and gave it a try. I'm so thankful that it worked. The Zinsser Odorless Primer-Sealer Stain Blocker is just what I needed to stop the bleeding of the maker through my paint. One application and no more bleeding....thank you!!! Thank you!!! It stopped the hot pink, bright blue, and the orange markers. I used it on my door, trim, and interior wall with easy application and great results. Wish I would of used this first!!!
I love Zinsser and their products....so I was a little disappointed at the coverage quality of this spray paint primer. It is great for the price though. Next time I will definitely spend the extra for a quart of paint.
This worked well to block the mold growing on some plywood we were going to tear up in a month or so. Made me feel better that it wasnt going to be coming back and wasnt blocked from coming back. I will be buying this paint alot and using it all over when we need it inside and out.
this is NOT remotely odorless andit does not cover up anything without multiple multiple layers for priming.
Although it says ODORLESS on the can it DOES HAVE a very chemically odor! Asthmatics beware! The product does work but the odor remains for a couple of hours.
