[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Whitman's sampler! I most definitely got this for myself and ate the whole thing myself over the course of a few days. I love being able to sample all of the different flavors. The only issue I experienced is how the package arrived when it was shipped, so unfortunately the pictures I got are not very pretty.

I really like that the box has the chocolates not only listed on the back of the box but also on the inside of the lid and exactly where each chocolate is in the box—this way there aren't any surprises. A box like this is perfect for a gift for a loved one, a thank you gift or even just because.

As a child I recall diving into these treats with my siblings. We all carefully selected our favorites....though my older sister and I both wanted the caramels! Whitman's has always provided the highest quality product and still does.

I prefer milk over dark chocolate so I appreciate that Whitman's offers a milk chocolate only option. Despite the great packaging, when I opened this box, the chocolates were all jumbled up. Most of them were not in their respective places as the diagram would suggest. However, despite the misplaced chocolate, this did not affect the quality. Chocolate was still delicious as ever.

As an adult, I have rarely purchased it, perhaps due to its drugstore ubiquity and perceived lack of exclusivity, but yet each time I receive one as a host gift, I always enjoy it! I'm one of those people who only likes milk chocolate, so this sampler is right up my alley, since most samplers force me to palm off unwanted dark chocolate on other people. The box looks exactly as I remember, and it's pure nostalgia to open it up and smell the neatly arranged confections. These days, the caramels are a little too sweet for me, but as a child they were amongst my favorites. But if I can get my hands on the coconut cream, I will!

The chocolate also looked a bit old. I'm undecided if I will purchase this brand again in the future.
