Nice way to store shoes in the mud room without taking up too much space, easy to wipe clean, sturdy enough, and great for the much smaller toddler shoes of our 3 kiddos!
I frequently move to new apartments. I like compact stuffs in my home so that its easy for me to move things. This is one of them. Its very easy to assemble and dis assemble. No screws, no hammering, nothing. Looking at the assembling guide i was wondering how this gonna work. But it does. I had a fear that this gonna fall down, but it never. So far so good.
pros: good tiny shoe rack, lightweight, capacity for 9 pairs(as advertised) sufficient for me and my wife......cheap,easy to assemble cons: actually size is much smaller than it looks in pics, week only sufficient for your shoes (but then this is what it meant for)... overall it is a good if you want a shoe rack for temporary use or just for starting up.
There are no screws or anything for you to assemble this shelf. Theres the 4 shelves and the 2 vertical pieces. The four shelves each have 2 hooks that form a right-angle at both ends. These hooks latch onto the horizontal bars in the 2 vertical pieces. Once you put in all 4 shelves, the shelves hold onto the 2 vertical pieces pretty snugly. The shelf itself is pretty lightlight but not too flimsy. It's more solid than the expandable shoeracks, like the one by Mainstays: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-Expanding-Shoe-Rack/15566810 --- Bought this in October 2013 and still works fine.
I got the one that all the shelves are slightly bent in the middle and though it does not require a lot to set it up it was a little tricky for me since all the shelves would not exactly fit into the frame. Works just fine but a little disappointing to me.
I used this product in my front entry closet. It was super easy to put together. My biggest complaint is the shelves can not hold much weight without them sagging. I was hoping this would be a permanent solution to my needs but since the shelves sag I know it won't be. The distance between the shelves was also not as tall as I'd expected.
East to setup but it is not good for heavy items, I bought this to keep magazines, when I keep more then 10 items then it bends in the center.
Arrived missing part of it. Clever design, but extremely poor quality and construction. Even with all of the parts, I doubt it would hold together or support any shoes, or even a few pieces of paper. Barely stands.
It is very light.. Not sturdy
Smaller than it looks. It is NOT durable,NOT strong and shelfs DO NOT stay in place. This should cost a $1.
