I bought the cubes to buid a guinea pig cage with them. It is a great product with so many different way to use them. Would recomend this product to any one wanting to make a big cage for not much money for there small animals. Also grest storage shelf when used for that reason.
This is exactly what it says-a set of metal pieces covered in a pink laminate of some sort. I used small white zip-ties to put it together, after I read the reviews saying to skip the connectors. It looks great, and my daughter's stuffed toys are finally not all over her room. I got a purple one also and made a pattern of every other one with the pink and purple. Love it!
I almost didn't get this because I read some reviews that said it was difficult to assemble, but I decided to get it anyway and I am so glad I did! I had no problems putting it together with the pieces included. I'm a rather petite lady and I assembled the whole thing, one cube on top of the other, in less than an hour without any help. It was easy to move from one room to another and there is plenty of room to store many different things. I'm very pleased with this purchase. It serves the purpose for which I need it, and the color suits my daughter's pink room perfectly!
I am a teacher begging for organized in a clean and easy way. These crates are for the hundreds of children's books I have for my classroom. While the crates will be a visual barrier to divide my classroom off, you can see through them too and they won't collect dust in the corners.
Bought this to house two guinea pigs, I made a 2x4.5 C&C cage. Works great!!
I bought these to add onto the ones I have already in my daughters play room. When they arrived and when I was trying to add them on they would not fit. These are a much thinner metal, meaning in MM, so the pink ones would not work with the white ones. I wish they would have made them the same thickness and charged a little more cause of coloring them. After they were put together they were not as sturdy as the white ones either so I had to tie strap the pinks to the white so they would not move. But after i got them all done they worked great. I bought the pink cubbie cubes as well and I LOVE THEM they are a wonderful addition. If I was to buy more I will go with the white instead of the color. But as you can see in the picture these do come in handy to organizing toys very well. So I am still glad I bought them.
This makes a great paper storage for Scrapbooking. You make one box then use the other grids for "shelves" w/in that box. You can buy sturdy plastic ties to bind them together. It's also good as pictured, though I would get tie down/wall ties to make them not so tippy if using in a small kid's room for toy storage.
love the color, hate the quality, two of the corner connecters broke while putting it 2gether. when u get one side in , the other side pops out, hate the connecters, love the appearence, bad connecters
It took me about 45 minutes to put it together because every time I got 1 layer finished it would pop apart as I started the next layer. It was so frustrating. The first layer itself I think was about 25 minutes. The connectors just aren't good. Once I got it up, I have to be careful now not to touch the edges when I put things in it or the walls will pop again...
This was purchased for my daughter's room to put her stuffed animals on. It is nice looking, but the connector pieces really stick out. It would be better if the connectors were smaller and easier to put on the wire grids. It was so difficult to assemble the cubes. My husband used two pliers (one in each hand). What I hoped would take a short time to put together two of the sets took all afternoon and we still have two more sets to assemble. My husband even feels that zip ties might be best to assure that the connectors won't let the shelf come apart. We might end up returning the whole purchase. I see why it was clearance priced.
