These are the perfect size for lunches and snacks. Even my kids love them. We buy them and freeze them and then toss them into lunches. They thaw by lunch no problem. They are the best and are much easier to deal with than cutting into a whole avocado when really I just want a half.
I'm trying to watch calories, cholesterol and carbohydrates. Also, I don't like overly processed foods! These minis do not have too many ingredients and are perfect for snacking or for lunch boxes. I take my lunch to work every day and Wholly Guacamole minis are very versatile. I've tried dipping vegetables in it or using jicama wraps (like tortillas but made with whole sliced jicama for lower carbs) with guacamole, rotisserie chicken breast and salsa. I would highly recommend this product to those who enjoy a healthy lifestyle on the go.
In an effort to make myself learn to like avocado, a friend suggested I try pre-made avocado mash or guacamole, so I bought some Wholly Guacamole Min Cups in the Original flavor! I tried it out this morning on toast and with the exception of a slight bitterness, which seems to be from onion, I was able to eat it without gagging! I wish I could take away that little bitterness!? The product is seasoned well, though I did add some Everything Bagel Seasoning! My friend said she often adds an egg to her avocado toast, but I'm leaning toward a slice of tomato next time!? I am hopeful that I can continue with this new addition to my venture to eat better!! I don't think I'll EVER be able to just slice or mash plain avocado and eat it, so Thank You, Wholly Guacamole for giving me a good alternative!!
I like this guac, but can't say that I loved it. To me, it lacked seasoning. I love that it doesn't have cilantro, which I hate, but is in just about every guac recipe. Add a little fresh minced onion or chopped cilantro (if that's your thing), and this guacamole should be top notch.
Love it, eat it pretty much every day on toast. A colleague noticed pieces of "string" and we were curious what it is. I said it was lime bits or part of the avocado skin, but my colleague was not convinced. Both still eating it, just wanna know what the "strings" are!
It tastes great the first 6-7 bites...but halfway through a single serve pack, I started getting a strange taste in my mouth. Thankfully the ingredient list does include cilantro like other brands. I also like the chunks of avocado. Maybe they could make it better using lime juice. I would get it again.... but share a single serve with a friend.
Products taste wonderful. i feel like i can never just eat one. So a 4 ounce Big size would be better. But not sure if increasing the size will fix the manufacturing packaging defect of the plastic cup being pushed/sucked inward. It's misleading and feels and feels like the consumer is being cheated on the serving.
The bottom of every mini package is pushed in differently, apparently bu someone's hand as if making sure that they put less product in. All the bottoms of containers are different but the tops are perfect.
I Purchased the minis a few days ago. They are the perfect size to enjoy. Unfortunately, there are so many hard, unripe bits of avocado in the little containers that can barely be cut with a knife, much less spread, I will probably never buy this product again. And I'm not talking little tiny bits. I am talking good sized chunks. I make guacamole. I've never used hard unripe avocados. In my guacamole. I guess they were too hard for even your machines to pulverize.
I don't usually write a review. But this is very upsetting. And I see other reviews that are the same. We like this product and have purchased the mini's before. But the ones we now have are pushed in at the bottom. Again like another review stated. These are random pushins at the bottom. Like someone did not a machine. Not sure. but seemingly to have less product in them. But also makes it very hard to get the product out. Leaving it in the edges. A waste. We looked at the others in our Publix and other ones as well. They are all the same. We like the product better than other quac's. But won't be purchasing again due to this.
