This seems to be a very nice changing table. I purchased it for the simple reason that it is a transitional piece (it can be used for more than just babies). The directions on how to put it together are easy to follow, easier than alot of other baby items we have assembled. Overall I think it is very nice and worth the money.
I bought this for my daughter who is expecting her first child, and was very impressed with this product. Very solid construction, easy to put together. Since this converts to a desk, she will get a lot of use out of it. It is actually sturdy enough to get several years of use as a desk, which beats a changing table that usually goes into a garage sale after use.
I was doubtful when I first received this table but after the easy assembly and the sturdiness I am really glad I decided to purchase this model. It is a plus that one can use this for more than just a changing table. Nice to be able to have multiple uses for one item.
We bought this table because of the little bin feature. It's perfect! It was easy to assemble and the little bins hold all the extra's. We love it.
I really liked the idea of a changing table becoming a desk after we are done with it. It was everything I expected it to be. The only minor issue we had was the one dow pin was too long and we had to trim it to fit without making a hole through the table but other than that it was good. I have looked every where for the best 2 in 1 changing table and I feel we made the best choice in getting this one.
product was easy to put together with the exception of one of the phillip's screws it came with was solid at the top and could not be used, thankfully I had a spare from my own assortment of misc., otherwise I would have been mad to have to run to town to pick-up the right stuff for the job. A rubber mallet was also necessary in assembly, and I happened to have one of those also--tool wasn't listed as a toll required for assembly. Product itself seems sturdy, but I haven't had the baby yet!
I didn't expect this to be thee most sturdy changing table/desk, but it works for what I need it to and the price is great. As for looks...it looks really nice in the baby's nursery. I'm not sure how durable it's going to be in the end...I don't know if it will make it to "desk-status". But I'm hoping it will!
The table is not as sturdy as I hope it would be. The frame is not secure. I'm thinking about returning the item.
I was quite excited to receive this changing table and when I picked it up the box was in perfect condition. It was packaged securely and very padded inside as well. I was very dissapointed when I started pulling the pieces out and seeing the extremely poor quality. Many of the areas around the screw holes were cracked and would not have held the screw securely. The top rails which were supposed to be the decorative side were cracked and appeared to be puttied back together. Due to the other reviews I will give them one more chance and wait the 3-4 weeks to order another one and exchange however be leary of the quality of this product. I know that we are not getting solid wood for the price but I don't want to trust the strength of wood putty to hold my new infant while I am changing her.
