This is A very useful product
When I sent my Wii to Nintendo to fix my defective GPU (grainy, pixelish video/graphics), that was caused by overheating because my fan was broke, they fixed the GPU but not the fan. So what did I do? It was surely going to happen again; however, I searched and found this. I ordered it as soon as I could. It works, it's very, very excellent. It sucks all the hot air out. It's true that it's a little loud (you won't hear it over the TV) and it has a somewhat useless blue light on the back, but in my opinion, it's worth every penny and I needed it beforehand, broken fan or not. It works wonders and I'm recommending it to anyone who has a Wii. It's needed. It runs when the Wii is in Standby Mode when WiiConnect24 is on (yellow light). I don't think the original fan does, and the Wii can get hot. But this fan is on during that time, which makes it much cooler and no overheating. The fan will turn off when the Wii is off (red light) which is good since there's nothing on and it won't get hot. This is a great investment. Get it.

Really seems to do the job. You can hear the fan running faintly when the room is completely silent. It does have a blue light in the back. But, it's not a bother. It takes up two usb connection ports and only supplies you with one. But, I don't need the ports for anything but this fan.
My son plays the Wii so much, with me of course! That it was starting to freeze up on games we played for a long period of time. So after some research i decided to try buying a fan for the Wii to keep it from over heating. I have not seen it freeze up since buying the Intec Air Cooler so that's a great thing to not have to start to game over again from the first. The only con that I can see is that it uses both USB ports on the back of the Wii and only has one on the side. so if u need 2 USB ports you will be out of luck with this product.
Bought this product for my new wii so it would not over heat. It worked very well the only bad part is that when it is running you can hear a humming noise from it but thats all. Otherwise it works great and i would recommend.
If your kids have the Wii and love playing it every chance they get, this item is a must have. Brought this product as an accessory item for the Wii for christmas for my kids. It is very hard getting them to get off, so you need something to cool it off. This product works really good. It hasn't been quite a month yet but I have gotten my monies worth plus some. A must have accessory.
It's no good living in hot weather so we decided to get this highly developed cooling system. The system overheats if used too long and this is the item we have been looking for. This is a must-have item! Don't let anything in your way heat up!
This fan fits well into the USB ports on the back of the Wii to keep it cool. However, my fan is pretty loud (when I'm not drowning it out with the TV sound) and there is an obnoxious blue light that stays on as long at the fan is plugged in. This is not too much of a problem for me, since my Wii is in the bonus room, not in my bedroom. Good value to protect my Wii, though.
I was epxecting the cooloer to use one USB port & then have one available for use through the cooler itself so you wouldnt lose access to both USB ports. However the cooler fills them both & has only one available itself so if you have any games that need both USB ports this product is not for you. It does turn off & on with the game & has a cool blue light that comes on but that is all smoke & mirrors stuff. If you need a cooler & two USB ports on the Wii use another product.
