It?s a great feed with no waste...
They all Love this mix. I fill the feeder in the morning and by night its half gone. I also put some in a large bowl on the ground for the squirrels and chipmunks and they also Love it.
We draw Acorn and Hairy woodpeckers to our feeders with this mix! In addition, we attract Scrub and Stellar Jays as well.
It lures a variety of birds to my feeders. I mix it with my large bag of sunflower seeds.
This is great to mix with other fruit %26 berry bird seed. All the birds and critters love this.
My birds eat this food up.
I feed it to my pet rats...they love it.
Bought 2 bags in store for the same price. There is some debris in the bag but it looks to be residue from sunflower chips that get crushed up during handlng, etc. The birds certainly do not care and it is loved by all visitors. I use it in a hopper type feeder and a platform. Chickadees, nuthatches, tufted titmice, cardinal, jays, doves, grosbeaks galore flock to it. No waste!
The food is better then others that I've seen in a grocery food store, more like the food you would buy at a Wild Bird store. The Woodpeckers and Jay's love it but it loses a star because like most bird food I purchase, what you see in the picture, is not exactly what you get. There are FAR less of the pistachios, pumpkin seed, cranberries and apples and more sunflower seeds and peanuts. The price should definitely come down for what it is.
This is very popular birdseed with all our birds
