It's kind of small. It can fit bigger things but it works more perfectly for notebook sized objects.
It was a gift for my granddaughter who loves to ride horses. She loved it.
Thought is would be bigger but is well made.

Messenger bag was bought for my 9-year-old granddaughter. She prefers them to back packs. She loves it. The bright colors suit her personality. I'll definitely buy her another one when she destroys this one. (She's hard on them!) I recommend this messenger bag highly for kids.
