I love the willow pump so much. I have a spectra synergy gold pump and the willow produces the SAME and sometimes more output than my spectra. I attached an image of a session where I pumped 5 oz from both sides. Some advice:1. You NEED the right flange size. Using the pump without it is a sure fire way to not extract milk optimally. The inserts willow sells are key here.2. You can't really bend down normally but you can squat to bend down without dropping all your milk.3. IMO the expression can sometimes be stronger than my spectra gold. I tend to use less intense settings on my willow than my spectra. I use stimulation: 3 and start with expression: 4 and build to expression: 7. I usually use 3 stimulation/9 expression on spectra for reference. The only negative is washing the pump parts but that's going to be a con for all wearable pumps
I absolutely love my Willow Go! I have used medela symphony, Pumpables genie advance, Pumpables super genie, elvie OG, Willow 2.0, baby Buddha, medela pump in style, Olivia, and other off brands. This is hands down my favorite pump I own. I get more milk out of my Willow Go than Medela Symphony. The suction is comfortable. The pump is comfortable. The best wearable that I can actually do things comfortably and even hold my baby with these pumps. Can't hold baby with the other pumps comfortably. I'm a busy L&D nurse and use Willow Go while I'm at work doing patient care. Only thing I regret is not buying it sooner and buying the 7oz containers from the start! If you are on the fence buy it now!
I absolutely love this wearable breast pump! It's comfortable, easy to use and I'm not chained to the nearest outlet anymore! It's super easy to clean and wasn't too terribly expensive. The only thing I don't like is how noisy it is but honestly it's worth not being chained to the wall! The extra parts aren't expensive either, so if something breaks it's a low cost fix! They also have pumping guides and support when you need it from the app without charging you a dime.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best pump I have ever experienced. Its amazing how confortable it is! I can do whatever I need to wearing it.
Willow Go has given me the best pumping experience! I am able to get so much more done, rather than being plugged into a wall 3-4 times a day! Range of motion is limited with tilting, which wasn't an issue for me. You can also manage suction from the Willow app, but doesn't measure output automatically. You can, however, keep track of output manually through the app. Again, wasn't an issue for me! Suction does work! I also love that you can swap the 5oz containers for the 7oz. Overall, it's a great pump!
I love my Willow Go! It's easy to use and assemble! It gives me great output and makes pumping at work easy. This is my full time pump and I've been using it for almost three months now. I love it! The only thing I wish could change is the way the duck bill attaches. If it had a stronger grip, I would be able to do the fridge hack, but currently it can't be done because the fat in the milk makes it slip off in the middle of pumping. This only happens if pumping with a pump that hasn't been thoroughly washed and dried though. The first pump is always great. :)
I ended up buying a willow go and 360 during this breastfeeding journey. Pros: Convenient! I take it everywhere. It cleans my breasts out really wellthe app tracking/log is amazingIt's easy to assemble. Cons: you can't put the pieces in a sterilizer or they melt. The duckbills have to be replaced monthly if you use it as a primary pump. The duckbills fall off in the milk during pumping sessions sometimesOverall, it's still my favorite pump ever. I still prefer it over the Willow 360 too. I recommend the pump to anyone breastfeeding or pumping.
I'm 2m in but the pump has been leaking. Even with the new cup I just purchased a week ago. Sometimes the duckbill valve came off after I emptied the milk
Loved these until the duckbill valves no longer sit flush and create a seal making it useless after only 6 months. I've tried all sorts of ways of trying to push it down so it stays flush but it just slowly slides up. The picture I've included shows the gap it immediately opens up as soon as I let go of the valve and it only gets bigger as I close it up. I don't want to give it one star because I loved it when it was working but it's just way too expensive to only be able to use for 6 months before you need to buy new parts.
This pump has a major drawback in storing the milk inside its cup. There is a hole on its collection cup which lets the milk out for bottling, but there is no cap on it! The stored milk is exposed to the air! If you bend while pumping or any larg tilt of the pump can lead to a leak because there is no cap on the collection cup! Pouring the milk into the bottle is also not well designed. If the hole was funnel shaped, pouring the milk was more efficient. In terms of power and milk extraction, it's like the other pumps which are cheaper.
