perfect added touch to my wedding reception
wish I had bought more than one bag
I buy these whenever they are available at Wal-Mart, although the quantity is very limited. I would like to see more of these on the shelves.
This is not like eating M&M's peanut chocolate candy. This candy is quite hard to crunch into, and the outside shell is simply sugar. So, perhaps, if the colored part surrounding the almond was chocolate or milk chocolate, it would be easier to chew/eat. The almonds, though were satisfactory.
I grew up eating jordan almonds because my dad always kept them around, so I know what a good jordan almond should be & this isn't it. When I was a kid, I liked to suck the outside sugar shell then eat the almond; not possible with these due to the shell tasting terrible on top of being very thick. I know Jordans almonds have a hard shell, but these are way too thick and hard to enjoy-could easily break that sweet tooth you're feeding. To me, this brand is more a novelty/decor for weddings, not a tasty, nostalgic snack for those of us who love real jordan almonds.
