Excellent quality. I am really happy with all the products I have purchased at Wilton.
These are easy to use. I just cornstarch them well with a brush, then push in the fondant or gumpaste, use a knife or Wilton shell tool/knife to cut off excess fondant/gumpaste. Then you turn it over, bend around mold a bit if you have to or use a thin paint brush and they come right out! These look great on the base of the cakeboard around a Giant Cupcake....that's how I use them since they are a bigger letter.

No prepping necessary??I just pushed a small glob of fondant in, pressed firmly, and took one of my Wilton tools to scrape flush with the mold to remove excess. Pressed again slightly, then flexed the mold to release. Comes out smooth and beautiful. Love these molds!
Letters and numbers fontant molds are easy to use. If you let fondat set a few minutes in fridge it is easier to remove from molds without messing with shapes.
I love these! I was hesitant at first to buy them but am very glad I did. They work very well. Unlike the other Wilton fondant/gum paste molds, these molds really do not need to be prepped with cornstarch or non-stick spray. I actually found them to work better without it. At first, I tried to prep them with cornstarch, but wasn't working well. Tried non stick spray, still not working well. Once I wiped the molds, and simply placed the fondant directly into the molds, it worked well. The letters will pop out with just a little flexing of the mold.

I found this product okay, but found it took a little practice. I just wish I had thought it out a bit more before buying it. I have only used it once, since the letters ended up being too large for most of my cakes. Nevertheless, the product does what it is supposed to do and is relatively easy to use.
