I bought the football pan to complete a wedding cake for a very special couple!
I ordered this football cake pan in plenty of time to do my grandson's birthday party. It took a week for them to acknowledge my order and get it shipped but wait almost three weeks to get the pan is rediculous and it got here to late. I would not recommend ordering from Wilton call around first or order what you need two months before you need it.
I ordered the Wilton Football cake pan to make a cake for my great nephews first birthday party it made the cake perfectly. It took on boxed cake mix to fill the pan and it cooked nice and evenly and came out perfect. I'm sure I will be using this pan several more time as everyone loved the way the cake turn out. It is a great product and I would recommed this to anyone needed to make a football shaped cake.
I love the shape and quality of the pan. I am going to use it for football season and the Super Bowl.
It arrived quickly to my Walmart and was packaged appropriately so the stand did not bend. The stand held the batter in place while baking so it was completely stable. I made two of the cakes, and put them together to make it a 3D football. Let's just say I scored a “touchdown”! Everyone thought it was great!
I baked cakes in this pan to sell for Superbowl Sunday. The pan is nice. The only thing I wish it had was a sturdier base to hold onto and while resting in the oven. This just made me a little nervous. Otherwise, everything else was fine.
It is just what I needed for my son's birthday cake.
I needed more flexible. Otherwise it would have been great.
I bought thinking that i could bake two halfs and make a 3rd football but is not football shaped too wide but looks okay as only 1 half on a cake board
After making two different cakes and same result; cake tipped in oven while baking. Put on sided baking sheet, did not over fill, used baking cores. Closed door cake was level, after 20minutes opened oven to rotate pan and pan was tilted and batter was all over baking sheet.
