I wanted to make star ice cubes for July 4 & I couldn't find an ice tray in star shapes so I bought this plastic candy mold. It worked perfectly & the red & blue gatorade ice stars popped out right away.
I sell candles and I love making samples to share with people I meet. I ordered this mold to see if it would work, and I love it. Not only do my samples smell amazing, they look great too!
Mold is easy to use and can be used for lots of occasions...birthdays, New Years, birthdays, 4th of July. Multi use mold.

I really liked the Stars Candy mold, however I deducted three stars due to the fact I cannot remove the glue which holds the cardboard packaging to the mold. I've tried soaking it in hot soapy water, slightly heating the spots and even trying to scrape it off with a razor blade (which started to cut into the mold itself. Grrr) and it WILL NOT come off at all. Looks really tacky since part of the cardboard packaging is also cemented to it. Seems to me you would use some type of water soluble type glue for this type of product. This is my first experience with the candy molds and I'm hesitant to try another one since this experience was so frustrating.
