Had the "Link" hub for over a year but it was difficult to setup and would loose connection when power would go out on the house or if the wifi would go out, and it would never reset itself, so I would have to manually reset it each time (even had to unplug and plug it back in). Well, this is something of the past with this Wink Hub 2! Easy and fast setup and reconnects/resets itself automatically. It is also a lot faster when controlling lights and such via your phone. Definitely worth it.
Great new product, works well, hard to find, but Walmart had one in my area at the suggested retail price
The hub doesn't come with a booklet of instructions because it's not needed. It makes going from the wink hub 1 to the wink hub 2 effortless. The app does all the work, and also resets your original hub to the factory settings. I would definitely recommend upgrading, or if you are new to wink joining the family.
It worked like a charm for me. I works well with Honeywell Thermostats, Philips bulb and chamberlain garage door opener.
This item is among the most user friendly items I have purchased in my recent past. It is truly a what one would term as a plug and play product. It is faster than the old Wink Hub in responding to motion sensors and it was fast and flawless in transferring my devices from my old Wink Hub to the new one.
Easy installation works well with app, use to remotely control a Schlage lock. App an add and delete codes an provide low battery alarm and alerts on need to delete codes.
This was a breeze to set up with a leakSMART system. I was expecting problems, but this hub made it seamless.
Product was easy to install and operate. Setting schedules was initially a little confusing, but was able to get them set after a bit of research. I found limited bulb types available In stores inventory that have the connected feature to be compatible with the device.
Unit will not let me add it to my Wink account, which makes it a white plastic box with lights on it.
