I just finished assembling the desk. The quality was better than expected. Easy to assemble and beautiful addition to the room. I'm very happy with it!
This desk is a solid, sturdy piece of furniture. It took my handy husband an hour to put it together.. he is mechanical and works quickly so I imagine it would take an average person a little longer. I was going to do it but the directions said 2 people and decided to wait til he got home. He put it together himself. It's perfect for a hallway or small area. I keep my date book, office supplies iPad, iPhone inside, laptop on top and store things in the cabinet. This desk is a winner!
I was so pleased with this desk..it was exactly what I was looking for...very sturdy....beautiful rich colour...very very pleased! So nice to be impressed with a product instead of disappointed! 5 stars in my opinion...!

Easy to put together well constructed, they rounded corners off rather crudely ,would have preferred square corners. manufacturer wrapped pieces pretty well however there was some rubbing on top front. I don't know how manufacturer could have protected any better.
The desk is NOT the color in the picture. It is actually a light more oakish color. Also the knobs are wood not the metal ones pictured. The desk was backordered for every and actually forgot about it until one day it arrived. Don't know if they ran out of the model pictured and sent a similar type instead. It is solid wood and is fairly sturdy. Very easy to put together and does look nice but not what I expected from the picture. It is small - but is accurate to the dimentions stated - so if you think you are getting a decent size desk, please read the dimensions carefully as I don't think it would be suitable as a workable desk. I use it at by the door to put stuff, cell phone, keys, wallet, mail, etc. in. I don't think the inside would fit most laptops either - definately not mine anyways. Hope this helps with others decision to buy.
This was the hardest thing to put together. The instructions were terrible. The parts were wrong so I had to improvise.
I love this desk. Nice and sturdy could be a little deeper in depth but I am working around that.
