I think I have tried every gum on the market. Some have great flavor at first but it doesn't last long. I like gum that has long lasting flavor so that it keeps my breath minty fresh. The Orbit Spearmint had a great flavor that wasn't overpowering. It kept my breath fresh for quite awhile (over an hour) and didn't turn cement like after chewing it for a long time. A lot of gums turn rubbery after only 40 minutes or so. That wasn't the case with Orbit! Great taste, nice texture, long lasting flavor! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
One of my favorite site's called PinchMe asked if I would like to try out Orbit Gum at no cost just as long as leave an honest review..... I said YES of course. I love most of Orbits flavors, specially the fruity kinds. I got yo try out the Winter Green flavor and Spearmint which both lasted forever. I had to make myself throw the gum I had been chewing so long that it gave me a headache.... It still had flavor left... You get an amazingly strong brust of fresh flavor when you pop this gum in your mouth.Perfect for after eating and so on... Huge fan! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Don't like these new Orbit gum a much as the smaller old version - they give me the jaw ache. It still is better than the other brands though, so WHERE ARE THEY??? Can't find them anywhere now!
I received Orbit Sugarfree as a free sample from PinchMe. I have had extensive dental work done over the last few years, and this gum didn't stick to my crown or any of the fillings! That is a total win for folks with any variety of false teeth (crowns, implant, dentures.) The one thing that is lacking is the flavor, it starts off great, but doesn't last as long as some comparable products. I would consider purchasing Orbit Sugarfree Spearmint gum in the future if the flavor duration improves. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Great flavor however you may want to place in ziplock bag after opening pack if you live in a humid region. I opened my pack last week and went to get a piece out of the pack today only to find them all wet? Still great flavor just not sure how long they will last now that their wet.
I'm slowly realizing I won't be able to buy the old style of this gum anymore. I keep ordering online through snack companies that still offer the old style but I know they will eventually run out. Please change this gum back to the old style, it's very obvious the new style is not being well received.
I used to chew the peppermint and spearmint Orbit White everyday when it was in the paper packs. Pretty disappointed to no longer see it in stores, but after trying the new formula, I've switched brands. It's even really close to the same thing. Bring back the old formula, and you bring me back as a customer.
Not the same gum. Give us a choice of the old or new version. Who wants to put a container in their purse! Thoughtless decision for the consumer. New formula sticks to partial dentures ( old formula did not). Paper containers easier to carry Everywhere, purse, car, etc. What were the people in marketing thinking? I'll find a new gum rather than buy this awful change.
I'm a dental hygienist and the previous version in the packs was all I ever chewed. It was the only gum that didn't make my jaw hurt, and I chew a lot of gum. Now the new kind looses its flavor after about two minutes and gets mushy and makes my jaw hurt. Please please please change it back.
My family loved the old Orbit White Spearmint Sugarfree gum and purchased it often in the multi-pack. The new formula is not nearly as good and I agree with other reviews that the flavor doesn't last as long. The tops of the plastic containers often pop open in our purses or backpacks. The packets were just better.
