I dont know what the game is like as I haven't played it yet. I just wanted people to know I purchased this game from Gamestop for $7.99 vs. over $30 at Walmart. This game is 7 years old. There is absolutely no reason for this game to be this much. that's why I went elsewhere. Times have changed. Shop smart.
If you like action this game is for you. Select the Hard level and your enemies will be re-incarnated for endless action. Select beginner level to learn the maps and how to find enemies and hidden items. Great game have fun...
When I played through the New order and The old Blood, I was ecstatic for The New colossus. But when the game came out and I played it, I was disappointed. The gameplay is the best part but it's still kinda in need of improvement. The story is very poor. The writing is inconsistent with what tone it wants to be. The mood keeps shifting between a dark, gritty and emotional sense and a comedic sense. An example being in a scene where BJ and Anya are discussing the topic of mortality and coming to face with death, it's interrupted by a guy coming out of a toilet talking about how good of a poop he took. The game play is pretty good. Guns have a lot more “Mmmph” than in the old blood and new order, the hatchet is a fun melee weapon. The way enemies burst into fountains of blood as you shoot and hack away at them, and the ability to dual-wield almost every weapon opens up many possibilities. But thats not to saw the combat isn't flawed. Though you can dual-wield almost every weapon, the lacking of variety of available weapons is what brings it down a bit. Not to mention the combat is poorly balanced. There are moments where you can shred through crowds of enemies but in most situations, you'll be melted like a hot knife through butter in many gun fights, especially on the higher difficulties. And without a way to increase your max health and Armor like in New Order or old blood, your pretty much best sticking to normal or below. All in all, not a bad game, but not a good one either.
Gave this a low rating, because the case for the game came damaged; however, the game itself was really good.
