Not real stiff very easy to get used to run true to size dont keep feet real warm if outside need more socks so by 1/2 size bigger.
These skates were a Christmas gift for my 13 year old daughter who goes skating with her friends almost every Friday night at a local ice rink. She wanted her own so she didn't have to rent skates anymore. She has worn them once so far, she said they were fine except they gave her blisters on her ankles, which I am hoping is due to the fact that they need to be broken in. Overall, not a bad value and she will get a lot of use out of them.
You get what you paid for. These skates are not fully leather-lined. They have leather lining only in the ankle area, rest - is synthetic lining. They fit true to size. I have not tried them on ice yet and can not tell about their comfort and warmth.
