This is ""the answer"" to the serious clutter created by my wife's affection for magazines. She subscribes to over a dozen periodicals and buys others that catch her eye, everything from The New Yorker to People. They stack up on the coffee table and spill on the floor. I mounted the magazine rack on the side of my new kitchen cupboard, so that it is near my recliner chair, and I can just reach out and retrieve a magazine as desired. I am very pleased with this product, and have received many compliments on it!

Use the magazine rack to store all of the numerous reading materials in our waiting area. Well built, lots of compliments, sturdy and have recommended it to our customers. If it was available in a cherry stain, I would have purchased it in that color - still love the item though. Would like to see a matching coat rack floor not wall.

Excellent service. Product arrived using free ground shipping in just two days. Highly recommend Hayneedle. However, this product is difficult to hang on a wall because it is so heavy. And since the pre-drilled mounting holes do not align with standard stud placement, that means that half of the support depends on attaching to drywall alone. That's a lot of weight especially when you add up to 60 - 70 magazines.
Overall this magazine rack is an exceptional value. It took some time to find a magazine rack that would work in the area we wanted. Capacity was also a desired characteristic and we were surprised that there was no claim of it in the product description considering that this rack far exceeds what others were offering. The ONLY real negative was the approach taken for the mounting hardware. I suggest that future versions consider this wall magazine rack to be mounted much as you would a wall cabinet, where the proper mounting would be to studs rather than simply drywall anchors. The potential magazine weight capacity is fairly high and drywall anchors would not be enough unless this was purely decorative.
I am a physician in a nice suburban area. This is a very good quality rack and looks very good and has good storage. Each packet/section can hold more than one magazine. I am very pleased with the 20 section wood rack. It looks rich and was easy to hang up.
Since we use the magazine rack for printed fliers, some of them fall through the crack/slots in the back of the piece--so if you can design one in the future with the cracks filled in, let me know. Thanks. Great product.
