I would buy this again if needed. It is put together with screws, so it will be easy to open to clean out in the fall making it ready for the next year. The hole will allow wrens and chickadees in, but not sparrows.
This delightful wren house has the proper size hole for wrens. It can be cleaned out by removing two screws on the bottom of the house. This is the 3rd one I have purchased.

The house looks sturdy and is now hanging in my tree waiting for wrens to move in. My only complaint is I will have to unscrew a section in order to clean it out. It says easy to clean, but to me that means able to open without using tools. And as I just hung it up, I have no idea if the wrens will like it or not.
It is a nice bird house. The Wrens are all ready checking it out.
