This is my 1st woodstock wind chime, i heard many good reviews about woodstock, so i gave it this one a try, i was so glad i did and ever since ive collected woodstock chimes. I actually ordered this Target Online, same exact price, but they stopped carrying woodstock chimes. The chimes glisten in the sun, the sounds are lovely to the ears and soul. i have 3 other woodstock chimes and they all are soothing. sounds like fairies and tinker fairies on my patio.
Sounds are very angelical, soft whisper, and soothing sounds. Sounds are not annoying but not always with strong winds. Gentle breezes and beautiful timing. I bought one and my daughter was impressed, so I purchased one for her. We both are very pleased the quality, value and amazing sounds.
I thought it was a little larger. Chime sound is very nice, and not too loud to hang in my kitchen window to catch the slight breeze. Shipped and received quickly.

This smaller Woodstock chime plays a lovely melody. The burnished look is a delightful addition to my patio. Thanks.
Great item for the price. Looks nice and is small & compact so high winds don't bother it. But it has a very nice and sorta loud chime. But the string they use to hang it up with is sorta flimsy and will break soon. They should use something like mono-filament (fishing line) which will last much longer.
The customer service dept. was excellent. The CSR was extremely helpful and very polite The items I ordered arrived on time and evertything was packaged accordingly. I will be ordering some other items in the near future and look forward to it Thank you for great service
I was hesitant hesitant to purchase online because you can't test the sound of wind chimes. But I was totally satisfied with the sound. It has a beautiful sound. After purchase I learned you can listen to all of their sounds online. My only disappointment was the size. They were smaller than expected. I was thinking the chime itself would be 17 inches, however, it must be measured from top of product to bottom of the clapper string. I would definitely recommend this recommend purchasing wind chimes from this company.
I bought this windchime for my boyfriend for Christmas as a small extra gift since he said that he enjoys hearing windchimes on our evening walks. This was our first windchime. As I wasn't able to know what it sounded like prior to purchase I didn't want to spend a lot on it. We love it. It is very sensitive to breezes.It hangs on our front porch and we can enjoy it in our living room which is adjacent. We hear its soft chimes quite often. I would compare its chime to the soft tinkle, tinkle that you hear on movies or tv when the fairy grants her wish. It is not the most decorative chime on this site- but that isn't what I was looking for. It is definitely better made than other windchimes in this price range. I don't think that I would recommend it to hang out in the elements- I don't think the materials would stand up. I can't wait to buy another more decorative one in the future from Windchime.com[...].
We have a large wrap-around front porch, and after I painted it recently I wanted to do something to make it feel truly special. So I bought a Woodstock Earth wind chime at a local store and liked it so much I decided to go online to see if perhaps it was part of a series. To my pleasant surprise, I came across the Hayneedle site with its vast selection of wind chimes. I decided to purchase five more Encore chimes since they are designed to harmonize with each other: Mars, Polaris, Pluto, Neptune and Venus. They look great hanging from my porch but more importantly they sound fantastic, although it gets a little loud when the wind blows hard (but I love it, lol). This specific wind chime, the Mars, is the smallest chime in my set. It's small enough to hang pretty much anywhere. The tones are on the high side. The Mars is the only one of my six Woodstock wind chimes that hangs directly from the string rather than from a hook. I would prefer a hook, hence the four star rating rather than five. The Mars is so light that perhaps it doesn't really matter, but a hook would definitely be an improvement and consistent with the Woodstock product line.[...].I'm very pleased with the purchase.
