I love the sound. My only complaint is there were no instructions about how much bad weather the chimes can tolerate. I have it hung in a protected area, but it doesn't get as much wind as I would like.
This Woodstock 40 inch Mozart Wind chime is beautiful. The wood is nicely finished and attractive. It is hanging on the patio and has a very pleasant sound with slight to medium breezes blowing. My current concern is that the painted chime area stays nice since I am planning on leaving it out throughout the year.
This chime has a mellowness to it. It isn't the high pitch faerie announcement type of tinkling. When I hear it, it just makes me look up and smile with delight.
This was a great gift for my mother-in-law. She wanted windchimes in the ""C"" note (these are hard to find). The price was also below all the other stores I shopped. Beautiful sound too!!

This is my second one of these Mozart chimes, since I wasn't as careful about preventing weathering as I should have been on my first one. I'll be more diligent this time so I can enjoy their visual and musical beauty for many years.
I am so happy with this set of wind chimes. The 40-inch size of the Mozart seemed to have the best tone for my tastes. The ""tune"" is so enchanting! I love to listen to it in my back yard on a quiet afternoon or evening. My husband has even grown to love it. After listening to it, my parents have decided they need one.
This windchime is gorgeous, and has a beautiful sound! The chimes themselves are green in color, and the wooden parts are a medium colored smooth wood. I just received it yesterday, and have hung it out on my back porch with a plant hook hanger, which appears to work fine with the weight of the chimes. Will love it for years to come!
I am looking forward to buying more chimes from Hayneedle. I like the fact that you can hear the ""real"" sound of the chimes just by pressing a button.
