This was given as a gift and it really looks like it is a quality product
As another reviewer noted, the chimes sound just like the audio. I loved the audio of these compared to all the other chimes on the site so I took a chance on that alone and am not disappointed. They sound fantastic! Note about the appearance: the wood pieces (paddle, striker, etc...) are more green than they appear to be in the photo. They are a green-gray color, but are a little more green than what they seem in the pic. Also the chimes themselves are not as shiny as in the pic, but I am sure both these differences are due to the flash on the camera when the photo was taken. Other than that, the chimes are wonderful. Quality brand...I always look for woodstock wind chimes because the sound is better than others. I like the "melody" of this one.
I have it outside my home office windown next to my bird feeder. Between the chimes and the birds I feel like I am in heaven!
I think that this chime is an exceptional value and being on sale was a bonus. I love the green color and the tone is beautiful. It is in my garden along with 7 other wind chimes and I can easily pick out it's tone. Most of them are Woodstock products and one has been refurbished twice because I leave them out all year long. The winds in winter make them all sing.
We have this chime in a rose arbor. It is very attractive and sounds lovely. I am buying a larger one for this spot and will move this one to another area. I do not know how well it will hold up to weather, I have not had it long enough, but it is very nice for now!
