This WORX 20V 8-inch Pole Saw comes with the Chainsaw Head Attachment, so you can trim, limb, prune and more, easier than ever before. Powerful but lightweight, it’s only 8.8 lbs with the battery attached, so you can wield it without much stress on your hands, arms, and back, and still get a lot done on a single charge. And the innovative automatic, tool-less chain-tightening and lubrication systems make this saw low maintenance, so you can spend your time actually getting the chore done. This model comes with: Chainsaw head, 20V 2.0Ah Power Share battery, 2-amp charger, pole attachment, bar & chain sheath. Plus, this pole is compatible with our Hedge Trimmer Head Attachment (model WA0308, sold separately), if you want to add that functionality later on. Here are the specs: The 8” bar means you can trim limbs up to 8” in diameter, or chop up fallen limbs that are up to 14” in diameter. The chain runs at a smooth 16 ft/s, with a 3/8” pitch. The oil tank has a 2.8 oz capacity. And the battery takes an hour to recharge with the included charger, so you can get back out there quickly. The 20V 8” Pole Saw is part of the WORX Power Share family, which means the battery that comes with this tool is interchangeable with every other tool on the platform. That’s an enormous arsenal of building, DIY, and Lawn & Garden tools to chose from so you can tackle any job in a way that works for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the short time I have used it, I has worked great! I have owned the weedwacker from Worx for several years and that too has worked great!!
I am old. The pole saw is lightweight. I could use it with straining to lift. Cuts like a beaver.
I own a lot of Worx PowerShare power tools and have been eyeing this pole saw for a while. As soon as it was on sale, I jumped on it and ordered it. Which is funny because it arrived just in time to be put into use. I received a courtesy notice from my city to trim low tree limbs, within 7 days, from our property that was extruding into the alley where service vehicles frequently passed through (dump trucks, utility trucks, etc.). Short of hiring a tree trimming company, Worx delivered on time to save the day. I was able to trim all the low tree limbs, from 4 trees, in about 20 minutes and first time using any type of power chainsaw type tool. For maximum sawing power, I recommend using the base of the pole saw to cut through thick branches, 4" or thicker in diameter. Use the tip of the pole saw to trim thinner limbs and the mid section of the pole saw to cut 2"-3" limbs. The pole saw made quick work of 1"-4" tree limbs. 5"-6" thick tree limbs required sawing half of the bottom of the limb, then finishing over the top half. Overall, very happy with this tool. After 20 minute of use, the battery was blinking on the second bar. I am ordering a Worx Pruning Saw to cut the tree limbs into manageable, disposable pieces, and to trim our fig tree. The saw is a little hefty, so it'll give you a good workout while you're maintaining your property.
I love my pole saw. Occasionally, I have a few limbs that need trimming. This saw is lightweight enough for an older lady to use. It cuts quickly and with no difficulty. This eliminates my need to hire a tree trimmer to remove the few branches that need trimming. Definitely can't go wrong with this item. Of course, I LOVE all my WORX tools.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really good pole saw with one caveat, which I will get to next. But first, it is easy to assemble, easy to use, and powerful enough for most yard applications. Oil does leak a bit, which is annoying, but I can live with that. The big caveat is balance. It is not easy holding this up and running it. I can just manage to do it with some careful positioning, but many people will not be able to operate it, and that is a problem.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a bunch of trimming a huge tree in my front yard. The unit isn't too heavy, which was nice, it had enough power, but the chain popped off a good bit, it was easy to redo and get going. I did have to buy a new chain after the chain bent/warped when it got stuck in a branch. I'm quite happy with it, and got it for a great price.
I bought this to trim some medium sized branches here at home and our camp. It worked well as expected. It's definitely top heavy but most pole saws are but after a few minutes, I got used to the counter balance points. I cut down several dozen branches on what charge and some 6-8" in diameter. The only complaint I have is the chain came off several times. And yes I tightened it, re-read the manual to ensure I was doing it right and despite that, it came loose/off several times. If it wasn't for this annoying flaw, I would give it 5 stars. The 20v battery lasted for about 45 minutes of on and off cutting so no concerns there.
Recvd as a Bday gift (at my request) because the description stated: light weight, extends over 10 feet, ease of use all the things needed as a DIYer. However at 4'11 1/2” 107lbs it's extremely heavy, hard to hold upright even w/o extension and the doggon chain popped off !!! Once unscrewed to put chain back on I apparently didn't tighten screw as I thought! Now chain is off again screw is lost and pole/chain saw is useless !!! Even my brother (200lbs) says it was definitely heavier than he'd imagined.
Pole saw is flimsy and chain fell off several times. Saw is just over 9' fully extended. I have 3 other Worx tools that I really like....trimmer, blower and jaw saw. This was a disappointment.
You get what you pay for it did not live up to its potential maybe light work in a city dwelling. if you have a lot of tree work you'd be better off buying a Milwaukee battery Pole power saw.
