The Worx NITRO 20V Pruning Shear/Lopper works well for cutting branches, twigs, dead flowers and more up to 1” diameter. These handheld shears are a great tool for smaller applications when a full-sized hedge trimmer is not needed and offers more power than manual shears or loppers. At only 2.38 lbs. with battery attached and an ergonomic soft grip handle, the user can operate these shears for longer periods with little to no fatigue. You can also hold these shears with one hand, versus a manual lopper where you must operate with both hands. As part of the Power Share platform, it uses the same batteries as every other tool, outdoor power and lifestyle product in that family. The compact brushless motor offers greater power, extended runtimes, and longer life versus tools with a brushed motor design. The titanium coating on the blades decreases friction, makes for easier cutting, and protects against rust erosion. The Worx NITRO line of Outdoor Power Equipment has the power to outperform standard battery-operated garden equipment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These loopers are my new favorite yard tool! We have crape myrtles that line our driveway on both sides. Normally I dread this task of trimming them every year but these loppers made trimming all 16 crape myrtles a breeze! The loppers cut through branches 1in diameter or smaller with ease and could even cut thicker branches with a few extra trigger pulls. The battery life is impressive as well. After trimming all 16, it still had half its battery life! We then used it to trim things all over the yard. These electric loppers have been extremely handy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good fit and finish. Great battery life (I bought the kit that included the 2.0Ah battery)... First use was processing some fallen branches from a wind storm. The power the tool has is quite impressive! After 6 hours the battery still had 1 bar showing on the power meter. I quit before the battery. I hope Worx offers replacement blades for the tool in the near future... I will purchase the 20V Nitro version of the pruning saw when it is available to the US market, based on the performance of the Nitro 20V Cordless Pruning Shear/Lopper.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Looper has become my go-to tool for gardening. Its lightweight design and precise cutting make pruning effortless. With its reliable battery and safety features, it's a game-changer for any gardener, offering freedom and peace of mind. Bring on spring—I'm ready to see this tool in action!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you need to trim tree limbs this product is fantastic !!! I trimmed hedges and trees and cut up the limbs for mulching. Will save you a lot of money on landscapers. The blade is extremely Sharpe !!!
Got this for my wife and she loves it. She uses it all the time.
This tool should be very reliable based upon my experience with other WORX tools that reputedly all use the same style battery/charger BUT instructions are a bit awkward due to writing style and size of print. . . basically a matter of paying attention to the on/off button's flashing green light which takes a moment to step up to the plate. The battery has a sensor to tell how much time is left for pruning. The cutting operation kills itself after a few minutes of non-use, which is a nice safety feature.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this thinking it would be nice to not need to use the loppers as much, especially on a ladder, but I'm shocked at how useful this is! I took down a walnut tree and then used this to cut almost all of the branches off the trunk. I used a chainsaw for the branches bigger than 2 inches but most could be cut using this. That is a very dangerous part of working on trees (bucking) and it feels much safer to know if a branch does spring back then it would push this tool instead of shoving a running chainsaw back at me. I was cutting for about half an hour and the battery still showed a full charge so I can't imagine running out of charge even on a bigger job with the included battery. It takes a little bit to understand how to use this with the safety and the trigger. Hold both in for at least 5-10 seconds until you hear a beep and then you can let go and it'll open up ready to cut. Hold the safety in and then the jaws will close/open as you squeeze/release the trigger. There are two settings for how wide they open, to change between the two hold both the safety and trigger down for a few seconds until it beeps then release. To keep them closed (when you're done) it seemed inconsistent to me of how long to hold the buttons down so it was easier to just squeeze both so the jaws closed (like I was making a cut) then pull the battery out. I was really surprised at how much more I like this than I even expected and certainly recommend it if you have a good amount of trees or thick bushes you need to keep maintained!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great cordless pruner, i used it on a tall hedge that had been needing done and the battery lasted the entire time and had plenty of life left. The pruners gave me no problems cutting i would recommend this product.
Awesome pruner, but hide it from your family! They'll love it as much as you do. Battery lasts a long time. My daughter almost took mine over so this one is a present for her.
I have a lot of tools from Worx and this one is one of my favorites! Well, I love them all, but this one I just used today a lot. After our cold winter I had several tall cherry laurels that needed to be trimmed to the ground! This made the job so easy!! On the bigger ones, I'll use my Worx mini chainsaw to get the bigger branches at the bottom. I can't imagine doing that job with a manual lopper! I won't have to ever again. The fact that it also uses the same battery as my weedeater, blower, fan, grass/hedge trimmer and chainsaw makes it even sweeter. These tools last, too! Needless to say, I'm a big fan! 👏👏👏❤️😊
