The cutting diameter of this 40V string trimmer is 13 in., which is wide enough to make nice even passes, but still narrow enough to get in-between trees and shrubs. The size is just right. The line diameter is 0.065 in. and the cutting line length is 16 ft. The adjustable auxiliary handle lets you take on sloped parts of the lawn and get at hard-to-reach areas, as well as providing a comfortable work position when on even land. And you can grab that handle by its side and turn this string trimmer into an edger, too. batteries hold up, lightweight and an awesome tool.
The WORX 40V cordless string trimmer is very light weight, well balanced, and very powerful. I absolutely was amazed at the power of this trimmer. It is able to clear out tall grasses, ferns, undergrowth , etc. with ease. It is so light weight and balanced that you do not get hand or arm fatigue while using it. I highly recommend this trimmer!
Item arrived on time and ready to use! Only thing that would of been better is if they would of had an option for extra spools!

I recently replaced it with the 40v Power Share 13" String Trimmer and I couldn't be happier! Worx really upped their game with this lightweight and super-powerful trimmer. The fit and feel are perfect; the dual-batteries at one end skillfully balance the trimmer head on the other end -- no awkward balancing or tired forearms! This makes my 15th Worx product (including their awesome mower). There's no need to shop elsewhere!
this Worx trimmer replaces a Black and Decker units that I was not ever happy with. the worx trimmer worked twice as long and was far more powerful. In the first trim of the season the dual batteries trimmed the entire spring growth. Weeds were literally blasted away, the tall grass was instantly trimmed down to the point the mower wasn't needed. I also like the balance allowed the handle to be the center of the load.

I bought this trimmer because my mower batteries are compatible. It works great. It has plenty of power, the auto line advance works great, it is fairly light in weight and is quiet enough to use pretty much anytime without bothering the neighbors. It always starts unlike my old gas trimmer. I don't have to worry that the gas has gone bad. And it doesn't make you smell like 2-cycle gas fumes. I do love this trimmer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am upgrading my current Worx trimmer giving my daughter the old one. It is a quality-built piece, and the wheels are very useful for edging. In comparing it to the original 20V version, there are some things that I don't like as much. I think this one is too long and isn't adjustable like the previous one is. I'm not sure the adjustable string guard will hold up without a lock like the old one had, but we will see. I was also told that this one was a dual string but is a single string. I will use it and it will do a fine job, but I would buy the 20V GT the next time.
I bought this trimmer fro Menard's two months ago and have already used up more string trimmer line in two months than I would have used in six or seven months of yardwork in a typical season. I attribute this to the design of the trigger is either all of the way on....or all of the way off....You cannot "sneak up" on the edge of a flower bed to touch-up an edge of a paver or border without turning the trimmer on all of the way even momentarily.....when you do this the Auto-feed gives you more line whether you want it or not. A varible speed trigger or a bump-feed spool of line would cure this...........Or offer an accessory speed head bump feed spool as an option.........The trimmer has good battery life and is of a decent quality and weight however.
