I bought this leaf blower over a month ago and have been truly blown away by its power and design. I have not had it run out of battery juice either . [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I already had the string cutter, the cart/dolly, the hedge trimmer, so I had the 56v battery to use on the turbine blower. I just love the blower and no cord. I am a senior citizen in my mid seventies, about 5 ft tall and I am able to use all my WORKX tools very easily.
Already had the 56 volt battery after purchasing weed trimmer and edger. This machine rivals the wind capacity of my 4cycle gas blower. When used in a confined space like my garage don't have to worry about carbon monoxide. I have learned how to extend the battery charge by using the variable speed feature of the blower. This machine is much lighter than the gas blower I own, so arm fatigue is a non-factor.
I bought one about a year ago but the motor kept quiting on me. I was about to say these blowers are duds. But I called Worx and was told that a replacement would be sent to me in honor of the warranty. The replacement was sent and it has worked perfectly! That is why I have bought about ten or twelve of these Worx products. I highly recommend their products! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blower is absolutely fantastic, it has power, is light weight and nice to look hanging on the wall or when in use. No more cards or stinky gas blowers for. This blower is environmentally friendly as well. The noise level when in use is extremely low as compared to gas and electrical blowers.
Snapped this badboy together and took it outside for a test drive. I was amazed at the power even on LOW setting. Delivers every bit of performance necessary for yard work and then some!!
On the Turbo speed setting, there is plenty of leaf moving power. If you are running the blower only at the Turbo speed, a fully charged 2.5 Ah 56V battery will discharge in 8-10 minutes. A 5.0 Ah or 7.5 Ah 56V battery would greatly improve the utilitarian profile on this tool. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Blower is strong enough and cordless is really convenient. Battery life is absolutely horrible...6 to 8 minutes max. That is a shame. Far too expensive for such limited battery life. Would certainly not recommend. ***none of the 5 stars can make up for the battery
The blower works great, but the battery is dead in 10 to 15 minutes. If I was blowing leaves in the fall I would need a lot of spare batteries. I hope that problem can be addressed.
I only was able to use the blower for ten minutes on high and the battery ran out. Same with the second battery I had available. If you need more than this, do not buy it. They do not give average battery times for low, medium and high. They probably should remove this from their site or use it as a placeholder until they can improve battery life with a large WARNING disclaimer about run time. I returned it and received a full refund with no questions asked. The WORX staff is wonderful to deal with and my electric lawn mower is working just great!
