It was easy to set up and sync with my phone. I like the notifications you can receive on it. Liked I could pick my own colors and style face for the display.
I've had my Wyze Band Health Tracker for several months and it has and continues to perform faultlessly and just as advertised. My favorite features are the step counter and the heart rate monitor. Also, the battery life is great. I simply recharge it with the included charger once a week.
Wow for the low price, sleek look, & functionality...can't be beat.
From a cost perspective this is an excellent fitness tracker. I have used FitBit in the past and in my opinion the Wyze Band is just as good at a fraction of the cost. Of course it's difficult to actually assess the precision of the step tracking but it seems to be on target. It sets up easily and provides good metrics for your exercise/fitness goals. It is not uncomfortable to wear and the battery has a good life span between charges. I only have a couple of issues with the Band, one of which is of my own making and that is I had no reason to assume this but I guess I was being hopeful the distance tracking was actual distance, not estimated based on steps. However, that would require GPS which the Band does not have. My bad for wishful thinking. Secondly, the Band comes on and lights up on initiation of arm movement which is okay when you want it to but at night when you are trying to sleep and it does it frequently when you move your arm to shift your body it can be quite annoying with the light coming on when you are trying to get to sleep. Other than that I haven't noticed any real issues with the Band. Another positive is that it tolerates exposure to water well since I shower with it on after exercising. Overall, another good Wyze product at a great price.
This is a great fitness tracker and more for the price. It has features such as Alexa integration and smartphone messaging that my previous fitness tracker did not have. It has a good size color screen. I can even customize my home screen with my favorite photo. The Wyze band is about the same size as my previous fitness tracker. However that model has a replaceable battery with a one-year life without the need to charge it on a weekly basis like the Wyze band. I would also like to see more detail on the Wyze app about my sleep patterns. My previous fitness tracker showed a better view of my sleep pattern on my smartphone app (and website) than the 1/2" Wyze band screen can show. See attached photo.
I purchased 3 Wyze Bands for kids who are in their 20's. They have been using a Fitbit and since this had a colored screen and looked like it was more advanced, I bought it for them. We've had two issues. The first one is everyone says that the heart-rate monitor is not very accurate. They compare it to their Fitbit and also taking their measurements by hand. The second issue we have experienced is that one of the straps just snapped off of the Band close to the electronics. I contacted support and they are replacing it so I guess I'll get to see how easy it is to replace the strap. Other than those two issues, for the money, it is a great value.
i would like to organize the order of the tasks. i want the most used icons at the top of the list closest to the home screen. Home screen, notifications, heart rate, weather, work out, alarm, find phone, alexa, settings, then tools. i've looked all over to change the order and can't find it.
The Wyze Band works for me. The band seems pretty sturdy and I still had a couple notches left to fit my 6 inch wrist. The small screen was pretty sharp and the touch screen did not stuffer. It was intended for tracking my movement and notifications. Step tracking is not too accurate. I had a day where I binge watched television most of the day and the tracking show I had a 6000 plus step day. Alexa is good. Notification is good. I didn't have to wear a earbud continuously and my wrist buzzed within 30 feet if I did not hear my phone ring. I can connect to other Wyze products in the future. The Wyze Band serves my basic needs for now.
I had problems right from the beginning with this product, Alexa did not work nor did the text notifications from my phone. After an update shortly after I received it, Alexa now works properly however I still to this day have never had the text notifications from my phone work. I'm now using a different new iPhone still with no success. Not sure if it's an isolated incident or not but it seems to be aging very poorly as well, I hardly get any notifications from my other Wyze devices on the band now after several months of use. I noticed initially that rebooting the band would fix the issue with communication to other Wyze devices, but now not even that seems to help, also I do regularly check to make sure it and all my other Wyze devices have the latest firmware, but no new updates have come out since my first one. Also know if you are looking to purchase one of these that it is much more like a “Fitbit” than a smart watch. Overall I was happy with the purchase as it gave me information about what was happening in my home (at least initially), I'm still eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new Wyze Watch and hoping it is more stable and fills more of a gap that was left by the Wyze Band.
Features are great and work well. You get a lot for very little money. But the strap design means you can lose this easily. Luckily I heard mine hit the ground. The clip that holds the strap on the main part broke somehow and from comments I've read it's quite common. No replacement sold as far as I can tell.
