Requires a C-Wire. This is WAY less temperamental than the nest thermostats I've used before, so I'd say it's a mega win. It's excellent for the price. Build quality makes sense, but the dial could be a bit easier to press. I didn't know it was a button for a bit because of how stiff it was.
Does what suppose to do for less, getting better and better after each software update.
It was easy to install. I did have a spare wire that I could use for the C wire. I consulted my HVAC expert and he instructed me on running the C wire, as my system was hardwired, no screw terminals on the control board. Once installed the setup was easy with the app. I set up routines for Wake and Sleep easily. Another advantage if you need to wake before your scheduled time you can just raise the temp with your phone so it's nice and toasty for you.
I'm so happy WYZE came out with this thermostat, it regulates the temperature in my home much better than before. Works with Alexa to point that I do not need to keep looking at the thermostat. What a Christmas present, Thank you WYZE. Ding Dong the Nest is gone!
It's super easy to adjust in the app. The install was a little more involved due to my wiring. But With some help from the community, I was able to get it handled. I'm still tinkering with the settings, but I'm loving it this far.
Easy peazy to install. Easier peazier to configure and use in the Wyze app. I suggest watching the install video that's YouTube. What a bargain!
Easy install, was a tad nervous at first, but the app walked me though the entire process of turning off power labeling, and installing my thermostat. This thermostat feels very well made, turned my old HVAC system into a smart one, that I can control from anywhere.

Once the thermostat is installed it works fantastic, but getting it installed was tricky since the instructions didn't cover my particular kind of system which has a different kind of control board. It took over 2 hours to install since there wasn't any support for Goodman brand Air Handlers and their control boards.
