This sharpener works great on most pencils, tho I found that some of the cheaper pencils that are wrapped in the super thick plastic coating will stop up the whole sharpener and pull out the lead. If you're really dedicated to sharpening these kind of pencils with it, you can rip/cut off the top of the plastic before using the sharpener. It's still definitely a 5 star product. Great value, great product. I'm off to buy some regular yellow pencils!
I received it within 2days from order date. Came to me in a nice wrapped box. Carefully packaged. Does not comes with batteries. You will need four (AA) batteries..
I like the battery operated pencil sharpener. It is very easy to use. I would recommend it to other people.
A little pencil sharpener is not something I jump up and down over, but it does work quite well. On the other hand, what really excited me was that Walmart delivered the item the next day!! I am still impressed some two weeks after the delivery. My compliments to Walmart.
Exactly what we needed at home for schoolwork. I have little kids that break their pencils a lot. Very handy this is and affordable.
no outlet needed, take it anywhere. good for sharpening pencil, crayons, and eyebrow pencils. I use it on road trips for the grandkids coloring books.
When looking at the inside of this product it looks like a pencil sharpener that you could buy but put in a machine so that it spins when you put a pencil in the top. I works good I wish it would stop when the pencil is sharp but you as a user must do that. I would recommend it to someone who isn't looking to use this item a lot during a day.
I purchased this pencil sharpener to keep from having my child continously go back and forth to the garbage with the old style of sharpeners. I tested it and it was OK, the first pencil I sharpened worked great, the second pencil, not so great, it actually didn't sharpen at all and I kept on trying until it was a nub. Both of the pencils were new. Its miss and go. Next time I will invest in a electric sharpener.
This product was not what I was expecting. Very cheaply made, and it takes a while for the pencil to actually sharpen. While pushing the pencil down to be sharpened, I either felt that I was going to break the pencil or the sharpener.....i wouldn't buy this again. It's only a matter of time until my kids break it.
Not a very good product. Was only able to sharpen 4 pencils before it stopped working. Very disappointed with this sharpener.
