NOT THE WIDTH OF THE RULERS I'M ACCUSTOM TO! 2- 2" STICKERS ON FRONT OF THE RULER VERY DIFFICULT TO REMOVE. USED GOO GONE BUT HAD TO SOAK. REMOVER RAN OVER THE VERY THIN STAINLESS TO THE CORK BACKING AND TOTALLY SCREWED IT UP.
The ruler is excellent! Scale markings are precise, etched-in the metal and very durable. Steel is thin and feels somewhat flimsy. It has backing made of cork. Why three stars instead of five? The retail sticker is extremely difficult to peel off. It covers the width of the ruler and so it needs to be taken out. Heating it up didn't work at all. Soaking it with different liquids didn't work: Windex, WD40, Goo Gone. Liquid Wrench penetrating oil was the only chemical that dissolved the stubborn glue. Great little ruler with extremely frustrating and time consuming nasty sticker.
