I bought this in 2009 and it's just now broke. I usually place my phone in the cup holder so the cord is bent ...5years later and the cord is finally on it's last string. I think this is a great product as I've lived in Washington, DC and a variety of places in Maryland and I've always been able to get a crisp sound. In DC I typically set it to 89.1 with no issues. Looking to buy another one!
Good product a little fuzzy at times
Every fm transmitter I've used has it's limitations. It takes a little effort to find a good clean channel, the sound is never perfect, and if you're driving any distance you're going to need to keep finding a new channel. If you live in a city, it's that much more difficult. Having said that, this one works as good or better than the others I've had. It seems well put together and it's super easy to use. It seems to be clearer than the belkin tune base I had (and returned). For the price it's a quick, easy solution to playing your music and charging your iPhone in your car.
Bad reception. I had to keep changing the channels to get a stations. Very aggravating if travelling over large distance.
Sound not clear. Charge slow
Almost impossible to find a channel it will transmit to. Sending back and will not buy or recommend this product to a friend. Have had much better luck with premierTek brand.
I bought this because of the low price but returned it soon after. I don't know if the higher priced transmitters are any better but it doesn't seem like they would be. I was constantly having to try other radio stations because of the static. Too much trouble!!
This product is worthless. It broke the very time I used it and was very fuzzy for the short amount of time that I could use it.
This would be great if it actually worked. Takes a long time to find a station that it actually works clearly on but one mile down the road its time for another search.
Very very few stations had little static. The ones that had the least amount of static still did not provide adequate listening quality music. Also, the device had to be extremely close to the radio. I could not sit my iPod in the passenger seat nor in the console without the amount of static increased to unbearable levels.
