Excellent packaging. Easy set up. Received the day we were told. Sturdy. Make sure you have the 18 hours to charge the battery the first time so you are prepared for the child to ride it. We did. He took to it immediately. The button drive is perfect for little ones to work. It should be recharged after each ride (if it's a long ride) for 10 to 12 hours the instructions say. It also comes with a cute little screwdriver to remove the seat for charging the battery. Oh and the charger is inside the seat when you first receive it. Great purchase! We could not be happier.
My 17 month old boy loves riding this toy around. Set-up out of the box is quick & easy, anyone should be able to do it. It is imperative that the battery be charged for 18 hours before the first use, if not, the battery performance will suffer. All in all an excellent toy for the money.
I ordered this online for my granddaughter's Christmas present and had it shipped to my sons address. That was a great help to us. My son put it together and really liked it. It was a little disappointing that it doesn't actually use a throttle to run, but has a push button on the handle instead. My son thought it might be easier for her to use though so that's probably a good thing. It's small enough for her to be able to ride now and should still last her a year or two. She is almost 2yr old and small for her age. A really adorable ride for her. Happy Holidays.
Purchased this little Yamaha four wheeler for my son's first (12 months) birthday. Within a few days he was able to ride it all by himself and get on and off easily. It's amazing how quickly he learned how to push the red button to make it move. I only charge the battery every few days. My son just rides it for a few minutes at a time right now but frequently throughout the day. He rides it in the house (tile floor, hardwood, and carpet). He also rides it on level grass, concrete, and packed gravel. It rides through the grass if it is level and recently mowed (short). My son loves the four wheeler and the price is great!
I gave this 5 stars, because my son loves it and I have nothing else to compare it to. There are probably battery operated toys that go a little faster, but my son has a blast on this with no complaints!
We got this for my son's 1st birthday and he LOVES it. He hasn't quite figured out how to use the button yet, but i'm sure it won't be long. Great look too. Pretty realistic, and has nice rubber strip on each tire to grib on tile/hardwood. I got it on sale for only $25!!! on (2-20-11) go see if youre store has them on sale!! AMAZING deal. I would have paid the full $50 with no regrets!
I bought this for my 1yr. old grandson. He loves it, it is so easy to recharge so my son says, & he was so happy he remembered how to use the buttons to make it go. It is perfect for him, now he feels so big, he can keep up with his brother(6) and sister (8).
We've purchased a couple of these over the years. This one we got for our three year old who is a little smaller than average. He fits fine on it, and weight wise, he has about 15 lbs to gain before he's too heavy for it. The first one we had purchased for our first born (7 years ago) was awesome too. He was 2 at the time, and he would give rides to 1 year old sister all over the yard. It doesn't go fast, and is low to the ground so it's easy for little ones to get on and off of.
it says age 2-5 but does not given accurate weight my son is 2 but he is too big for it so I returned it. It may fit a smaller child under 30in better
I wanted to open the toy and put it together for my sons 2nd birthday. As I went to put it together there were no handle bars inside the box. The box did not seem to had been opened. We had to exchange it for another at the store that was already assembled.
