This can be played like a regular keyboard, or as an organ. It also has a setting that makes it like the old Lowrey Organs where you can play left handed chords with just one finger. I love it and it's the perfect size. It has full size keys and has many, many options for sounds and beats.
I have played quite a few keyboards. I'm a guitarist with some piano skills. I bought this for my kids to begin on, and I hippie to use it on some recordings. It sounds very good. There is a nice palette of sounds. The keys are not weighted, but still have good response. Seems like a good product that will fulfill our needs.
Bought this for my daughter and the whole family loves it! The light up keys and Waiting setting makes it so fun and easy to play, and the fact that you get the stand and headphones makes it even better! If you are looking for a good keyboard without breaking the bank, this is the one to get!
We bought this keyboard for a 10 year old who plays guitar and wants to learn to play a keyboard. This one has lots of learning features that proved beneficial right away. The lighted keys on the notes playing or to be played, 3 learning stages of pre-recorded songs, and the interface to an Ipad mini to display the sheets of music being played, with automatic page turning. Better than expected. Good choice.
I bought this keyboard so I could do a sing-along once a month at a nearby senior living facility. It comes with it's own stand, can be used with AA batteries, and is light enough for me to carry in the gig bag I purchased. It's very similar to a Clavinova since it has many different instrument sounds, but doesn't have as many octaves.
I have spent years away from piano since middle school. I bought this piano in hopes of it being a decent buy. I must say, it has completely enchanted the younger ones and has exceeded my expectations on sound quality. If there is one downside it is the dramatically over-simplified "Moonlight Sonata", aptly entitled "Moonshine" in the song bank. It's a great song but not appropriately set up in tutorial mode(It doesn't show the actual keys for a full song). Aside from that one song out of the many, it's a solid 10/10.
As far as the quality of the keyboard. That's perfect. It was everything I was expecting the only down side was that the headphones were missing the adapter that allows them to be connected to the keyboard. Luckily i had an extra one but still.. if i didnt i would be furious..
Ear phones that came with the keyboard don't work correctly.
I am a self taught player and play mostly casually so not a pro by any stretch. I have had a few pianos in my time, ranging widely in quality and price. I now live in a very small place and cannot have anything more than a keyboard so I tried this. The keys are plastic so they have no resemblance to actual piano keys. Also the texture of plastic makes it harder for me (maybe it's mental, having had nicer pianos in the past?) to slide my fingers down the keys and I can hear the plastic and hollow sound which is a real turn off for me. I can see how this would be fun and great for a less experienced person (or a school age student) who wanted to have fun and play around with all of the features (that I don't use) while learning to play. I'm getting a Yamaha P-105 this week which is still compact but more my speed.
This was a gift and I'm happy to havevit
