Maggie really has used this lapdesk since receiving as a Christmas gift. She has found it convenient for doing homework and reading books.
The perfect size, very comfortable. Just what I needed. My laptop runs cooler. I use this every day.
It was exactly what I needed at an affordable price. I can sit on my couch, set it on my lap comfortably with the cushioned bottom while writing on the top hard surface with the perfect amount of room. great deal!
Couldn't find one in any store, bought this one online and it works perfectly. Wish they carried them in store, but oh well. We are very pleased with it.
Love it. Only thing I wish it had was a lip around the top edge to keep stuff from rolling off but its inexpensive, comfy and fits a laptop nicely.
Ordered two of these for my grandsons, ages 7 and 11, and they love them. Too bad it isn't available in colors instead of just black, but the black is okay. There's a zippered pocket on the pillow side of the desk, and both boys immediately put a pencils in the pocket so they'll be available at homework time. It's also nice that the lap desk has a handle to carry it with. Good product for the money.
I needed this for my netbook. It serves the purpose well. My only issue is when I received it the bottom two corners were banged up. I would guess from however they are stored at the warehouse. Kind of annoying, when you pay for something new you expect it to look that way. I didn't think it was worth the wait or cost to return it, so I just kept it. But if they store all of them this way, expect them to arrive damaged.
The price was nice and the appearance, but out of the three I ordered, one was damaged beyond use and the other two show signs of the edges getting messed up. Evidently they are made of some composite material that breaks and compresses.
The writing surface was smaller than others I've seen, and the quality was not as good. The edges on it were rough and uneven (very easy to snag your clothes on). They described is as "rich black", but it was not a "rich" color at all. The color was kind of splotchy and uneven.
