I love how in the egg is an animal and fun fact about the animal. Few times we have gotten one with the characters on the wrapper. Plus the kids love the chocolate.
My toddler is OBSESSED with these and they are the perfect potty training incentive! He loves his "tiny animals" he gets from them, loves the process of breaking/eating the chocolate and opening the egg inside! I would buy these any day over the KJ Eggs!!
These egg toys are much better than the eggs that come in the white and orange packages. The toys in this one are soooo much better!!
love the yowie chocolate its delicious and the yowie animal toys are so cute love collecting them
I love these Yowie surprise inside chocolates because they are SO much better than any other type of chocolate with something inside. The toys inside are super real-looking endangered animals! And the chocolate is good because it is non-GMO and doesn't have any artificial stuff in it. I don't know what that one-star reviewer was talking about since obviously these ARE legal, otherwise, they wouldn't be selling them, dummy! You cannot sell edible things with non-edible things inside them if you cannot see that there is something inside. These are not like that since the chocolate comes in two halves and isn't solid around the surprise egg. Duh. That's why you can't sell those European ones here because they have a plastic toy inside of a solid chocolate egg. Jeez, learn the truth before you spout off nonsense dude.
My daughter enjoyed the turtle toy. There wasn't much chocolate for her to eat was the only downside. I also enjoyed that they put in a piece of paper with facts about turtles.
I recently bought two of these for my 8 and 11 year old boys. I was hesitant due to the price but both enjoyed it, so no regrets. My 11 year old even asked for another. The chocolate is thin and surrounds a plastic Easter egg, which holds the surprise. The chocolate has a good taste and is stamped with a picture of the yowie. Both boys got little plastic animals as the surprise. I have attached a picture of one. On another note, the name yowie is fun because a cryptic similar to Bigfoot in Australia is known as yowie by the locals. No doubt where the name comes from. I highly recommend this fun, delicious milk chocolate candy.
ok. its chocolate so my son loves it. too expensive though.
I don't know how people get the little animals. I bought both my kids each one on several occasions and if ALWAYS get some ugly cartoon monster NOT the cute realistic animals. I guess we just have bad luck, but after a few times I stopped buying them because my kids wanted the animals not the ugly monster figures. Also, it's just a chocolate covered egg with a toy inside. Not the same allure as it used to be, but I understand it's a liability issue.
how can this item be sold when it is illegal to sell chocolate with toys in the middle of it?
