This is the best seasoning by far of all seasonings I've used on fish. I've tried it on several types of fish. I thought it would be a hot seasoning, but it isn't. I like that it isn't hot, but full of flavor. It's really hard for me to describe the taste. It doesn't over power the taste of the fish, just enhances the flavor.

I have to tell you this story...Had a friend bring restaurant made chicken wings to our house for a football game. I had already BAKED my own chicken wings with this seasoning. At the end of the evening, my wings were gone and 70 percent of our friends wings were left over....just sayin'!!! Would love to be able to purchase this seasoning in store instead of online!

I found this in a Walmart in woodbridge, Virginia and I use it every chance I get! I was sad that it was almost gone and then I remembered I can order it online! They have this microwave meal that is blackened chicken alferdo. I use this seasoning and a few of my own touches and it is a hit with my young boys every time!

Blackened season with a nice kick
We love zararains! This has a bold , strong, spicy flavor and we absolutly love it! We eat it on chicken and fish all the time ! We grill or saute in a pan , its a staple in pur house .
the best blackened seasoning. rinse your fish or seafood, then pat dry. coat with blackened season generously! i use hi temp olive oil mixed with peanut oil for extreme temp without burning oil. take blackened coated fish, like mahi mahi, gently place in (i use Emeril stainless pan 9") 375° oil about ¼ deep oil. dont mess with it, shake pan slightly after placing 2nd piece to cook, to make sure its free floating and sauteing.. about 3 to 4 min gently turn over, treat it gently, same amount of time 3 to 4 min.. place on paper towels to drain, taste test piece to see if cooked long enough..you can fix under cooked, cant fix burnt. should be blackened spicy crispy with flaky white fish inside.. shrimp same way. but use big rock shrimp 2 min each side. 372°
