My son has been taking the recommended daily dose of this for several months. He has 16 food allergies and a histamine and oxalate intolerance and does extremely well with these! (Fish oil is high histamine so he is unable to take it.) I pierce the capsules and mix the omega in with his foods. (I take the capsules myself.) My son is speech delayed (22 months and has 1 word) and after reading some studies on speech delays that mentioned vitamin E and omegas as key components to speech, I included 100% of vitamin E in his diet plus upped his omegas to 6 capsules a day instead of two. The results in just a couple weeks has been REMARKABLE. He now can say "mama" which he could not before, "dada," and a new animal sound ("bah" for sheep) and he has been SUPER chatty and willing to try almost every word I try to get him to say. The turn around has been AMAZING. I can't say it can be attributed to the omega 3 alone, but between the omegas and the vitamin E, we have had mind-blowing results!! This is the only product he can take because it's the only one that is free of other added ingredients (when you pierce the capsule for its contents.) And it is reasonably priced compared to the other algae oils. This algae oil is SUPERIOR and I would HIGHLY recommend it!!
