received regular Zest Aqua Pure Scent, but I didn't see anything in the packaging about "Hydrating Effects". Needless to say, I found this a solid bar of soap. It's a full 4 oz each bar. The scent didn't seem appealing upon opening up the cardboard box. It was almost too "cinnamon". It was better in the shower. It had been decades since I used Zest original "aqua" scented, and it took me back. To the 80s. A little. The scent is NOT exactly like the vintage one. Smells great and leaves skin feeling clean!

The scent didn't seem appealing upon opening up the cardboard box. It was almost too "cinnamon". It was better in the shower. Soaps these days seem less gritty than those of yesteryear. I will say, this leaves me feeling my skin clean and residue free, but also comfortably moisturized. Not oily at all. Despite the colorings and fragrances, my skin hasn't reacted badly to it at all.
What did I dislike? when you remove the wrapper it says all over the box, "Trusted American Brand" in huge letters. BUT when you look for the country of manufacture, it says UAE in tiny tiny lettering. (United Arab Emirates) The soap is ok, the implied lie on the package is not.
