My wife had the nastiest flu and I started to get it but I started taking the lozenges and it held me off from getting sick.
When I start taking this at the first sign of a cold (post-nasal drip, sneezing, sore throat), it definitely goes to work to shorten the duration of the cold and severity of the symptoms. Without it, I could have a stuffed up nose, congestion, coughing for up to 3 weeks. Last cold I got was all done in 10 days. I swear by this stuff and won't go without it during cold season.
I was skeptical of trying Zicam at first but have used it for my last 3 head colds over the last several months. It definitely shortens the length and reduces the severity of a cold. You do have to take it at the very first sign of a cold and keep taking it strictly as the directions state to get the most benefit, but it works. My last few colds have been minor inconveniences rather than full on misery while using Zicam, and none escalated to a sinus infection. I barely had to medicate other than a little nasal spray overnight.

We have been using this any time we feel like a cold is coming on or we have been exposed to any one not feeling great. Seems to work perfectly. My husband loves it.
I use this product all the time to keep my immune system healthy and in check. If I feel like I'm getting sick I will take and it has kept me well.

I love the texture and rapidity of the tablet. I took them at the first sign of a cold, and it is too soon to tell if they really work. I will keep you posted.
