Bought this for a kitchen remodel because my wife loved the copper color. I thought it was very pricey but oh boy, the color compliments our grey cabinets well. It looks beautiful and because of the size, this really stands out. I'd recommend to anyone looking to be bold and get away from the usual stainless steel range hood
My wife and I are so thrilled with our New ZLINE 36". The first hood got dented in shipping and they sent us a new one in days (No Hassles) and looks perfect!
After purchasing a fancy LG hood that never worked, I was pleased to purchase the Z Line hood. It is beautiful and has just on and off buttons, no unnecessary features like WiFi. The only drawbacks are that the final weld is visible on the front left side and the chimney took more effort than I expected to cut with a grinder. A jigsaw with a fine metal cutting blade worked much better. I recommend that everyone buy the crown molding to hide the flaws in the cut to the chimney.
Installation was relatively easy but would recommend that ZLine provide a piece of 1x1 angle iron which would be installed on the wall to create a ledge for the hood to sit on at the base of the hood. The 2 plastic anchors are a bit cheesy and in time may become a problem. We did this and it made the installation so much easier,
The hood is gorgeous. The lighting is more than adequate for the entire 48" of my range. The fan will take care of any smoke or scents in your kitchen. The air output outside is impressive. My hood was dented upon arrival, (NOT due to the shippers, it was packaged dented) It is quite high and I can't see it. It doesn't affect the performance of the hood, but for the price, I did expect perfection. Now, only one thing: It is quite loud and sometimes I refrain from using it as I cook because it's too noisy.
I just finished remodeling the outdoor kitchen and we installed the hood vent.It looks very good and was easy to install
This product is industrial standard and for commercial purposes. We installed it in our kitchen. Works wonderful. We received the package with the wires not connected. We got our contractor to do the clean the terminals and secure it with an electrical masking tape. We ended paying the contractor for this work. Other than that we got what we wanted.
Nice quality hood at a decent price. The copper color is a bit more "flat" in real life compared to the pictures, but it still looks nice. Motor seems built for long life. The only nits are that the control buttons are somewhat awkward to reach (under the hood on the back face), and turning the fan OFF from any speed requires pressing the power button THREE times (to cycle through the "power off delay" options), which is awkward.
Your ad led me to believe that the unit I bought had a remote fan However, it did not. Having said that I am happy with the product I got. I was skeptical when I started installing it, but it turned out great.
I received 4 hood vents all 4 we're damage in transit it was a beautiful product but I didn't have the time of using the hood vent, so I give up and cancel the order if they would have a local vendor in Boston MA that I can physically pick it up and inspect for damage , I Would buy one.
