This is truly the most amazing wall mount hood and vent. It's so quiet, you're not sure it's even on, but so powerful you think it's going to pick up dust from the floor! It's sleek design is affordable luxury! The process for purchase was smooth from start to finish and instructions were thorough and easy to follow. ZLINE, thank you for outstanding customer service and a superb product!
Everything ran fine, from the buying process to the installation, which I did by myself. The hood works very well, and it is made with quality materials. Now is the time to know how it will work during the lifespan.

Everything is great with the hood. It looks great and works well. My only gripe is the protective coating wrapped into the seam and was sandwiched between two pieces of metal on the top of the hood. The coating would not pull off without tearing. This made for a lot of cleanup work in the seam with a razor blade that could have been avoided with a little more thought put into the assembly of the hood.
I purchased this hood a few months ago as my kitchen was remodeled. I'm finally cooking regularly and LOVE THE HOOD. It is professional looking and functions perfectly.
It is a great range hood handworks well. I give it 4 strs instead of 5 because the controls are very difficult to reach. They are inside back right. I have to reach over my gas stove to turn on the light or the exhaust fan. I recommend that the controls are on the front of the hood.
I've been using this hood for a few months now and I'm happy with my purchase. Its very stylish, a easy install and vents very well. I'm only giving it a 4 star because it is a little loud when on any speed other than low. I've also had to replace the lightbulb in the short time (two months) I've had it.
Wanted a hammered copper hood to match our sink and choose this unit because of priced and design. Once installed it had fan motor issues/noises. Customer service was very helpful and sent us a new motor at no charge but had to take it down and disassemble the unit! Luckily I'm pretty handy at this type of task. Now the unit is 6 mos old and has a light bulb out! Ugh... at least it looks good!
I chose this hood because we wanted a strong hood without visible buttons on the outside. It is LOUD and the filter rattles. It also has poor suction; a lot of smoke just escapes the front of the hood and is never collected. Less than a week after installing it, I hosted Christmas Eve dinner and, with all four burners going, it just stopped working. The lights stayed on, but the fan shut off and could not be turned back on.
