Best price on this product vs Petco and Petsmart.
This is the first time that i have ordered these basking lamps on line at Walmart.com. I use these lights all the time for my Bearded dragon. One of the bulbs was bad and went out the next day. I emailed the company that filled the order and they sent me a replacement right away.
Halogens are becoming more and more difficult to find, and are the best for deep penetrating heat for your reptile's optimum health. I use this for a Leopard Gecko in a 40 gallon enclosure; her optimal basking “hot spot” is 91F. Be sure to use a dimming fixture rated for the wattage of the bulb, a dimming thermostat, and independently spot check your basking spot as thermostat thermometers aren't always accurate! This bulb maintains the appropriate thermal gradient in her habitat.
I was under the impression this was a lamp that included 2 bulb refills. But its just two bulbs. and it wasn't the 100 watts i ordered it was 150
