I purchase this bulb every year at this time. it is always packaged wonderfully for something fragile.
These have a long standing reputation for being the best bulbs for keeping reptiles from developing the horrific bone disease that come about when they UV is neglected. You don't want to wait as you can't fix it when it's too late. You also must change them every year as they no longer emit the right properties after a full year of use. It's just part of keeping reptiles.
great help to make use of an old aquarium light. Covers full tank vs. circular spot lamps
I ordered a florescent bulb and it was damaged during shipping. The item was not packed well, with only a small amount of paper padding on one end of the box. The other end was smashed, causing the prongs of the florescent bulb to break off and get pushed into the bulb, rendering it unusable.
