A female perspective is the heart of the feature Women in Film. The transfer is presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen and lacks the sharpness and contrast of most major releases. While most of the colors and black levels look good, there is far too much edge enhancement and softness for this to be a great-looking picture. The soundtrack is presented in Dolby Digital Stereo in English and lacks any emotional or audible punch. While most of the dialogue, effects, and music are free of distortion and hiss, overall this is an only mediocre sound mix, minus any directional effects or surround sound use. Also included on this disc are English subtitles. The only extra feature available on this disc is an R-rated trailer located under the Lion's Gate logo.
